Chapter One
“Pull up a chair, grab yourself a coffee, and let’s have a chat…”
First of all, thank you for stopping by.
Whether you’ve discovered WildOrbit through Google, social media, or simply wandered in out of curiosity, I’m genuinely pleased you’re here.
This isn’t going to be one of those polished “Welcome to our amazing store” introductions. There are enough of those already.
Instead, I thought I’d tell you why WildOrbit exists.
It All Started With Curiosity
Have you ever found yourself disappearing down a rabbit hole late at night?
You look up one interesting fact…
Half an hour later you’re reading about lost civilisations, the Apollo missions, the wisdom of ancient philosophers, the possibility of life beyond Earth, or wondering whether your dog understands far more than it lets on.
If that sounds familiar, then we’ve already got something in common.
I’ve always been fascinated by ideas.
Not because I expect to find every answer, but because I enjoy asking the questions.
Why do certain quotes stay relevant for thousands of years?
Could there still be chapters of human history waiting to be discovered?
What makes people willingly run marathons?
Why do mountains call to some people while others would rather spend a weekend restoring a classic engine?
The world is full of interesting people with interesting passions.
WildOrbit was built to celebrate them.
More Than Just Another T-Shirt Store
Let’s be honest…
The internet doesn’t exactly need another website selling generic graphic T-shirts.
There are plenty of those already.
I wanted to create something a little different.
Something that reflects the things people genuinely care about.
A T-shirt isn’t just something we wear.
Sometimes it’s a conversation starter.
Sometimes it’s a reminder.
Sometimes it’s a joke that makes a complete stranger smile.
Sometimes it quietly says… “This is what interests me.”
And I think that’s rather brilliant.
Wear What Interests You
That’s become something of a philosophy around here.
Whether you’re fascinated by philosophy, captivated by the mysteries of ancient history, inspired by space exploration, happiest on a mountain trail, passionate about fitness, a lifelong runner, an old-school mechanic, a flower lover, an animal enthusiast, or someone who simply enjoys a clever design that makes people smile…
There’s room for you here.
Every collection starts with exactly the same question.
“Would someone who genuinely loves this subject be proud to wear it?”
If the answer isn’t yes, it goes back to the drawing board.
Quite literally.
Behind Every Design
If you’ve seen the workshop desk at the top of this page, you’ve already had a little glimpse into how I imagine WildOrbit.
A notebook full of sketches.
Books that spark ideas.
Maps waiting to be explored.
A warm mug of coffee.
A compass pointing towards the next adventure.
That desk has become something of a symbol.
It’s where ideas begin.
Some designs arrive almost fully formed.
Others are scribbled, crossed out, redesigned, and refined over several days before they finally feel right.
The best ideas usually arrive when they’re least expected.
Often while walking. Sometimes during a run.
Occasionally halfway through reading something completely unrelated.
Curiosity has a funny way of connecting ideas that don’t seem connected at all.
Made For People, Not Warehouses
Every WildOrbit product is professionally printed to order.
That means your T-shirt isn’t sitting on a shelf collecting dust while waiting for someone to buy it. It’s created especially for you once you place your order.
It takes a little longer than pulling something from a warehouse, but it also helps reduce unnecessary waste and overproduction.
I think that’s a much better way of doing things.
Where We’re Heading
WildOrbit is still growing.
Every week brings new ideas.
New collections. New designs. New conversations.
The dream is ambitious.
To build one of the UK’s leading independent graphic apparel brands.
Not by chasing every passing trend.
Not by copying everyone else.
But by continuing to create original designs inspired by curiosity, creativity and the things that make life interesting.
This Blog Is Part Of The Journey
This blog won’t just be about new products.
It’s where we’ll explore the stories behind our collections, fascinating facts, forgotten history, philosophical ideas, outdoor adventures, creative inspiration, fitness motivation, space exploration, and the wonderfully unexpected rabbit holes that curiosity always seems to uncover.
Think of it as an extension of that workshop desk.
Every article starts with a question.
Every conversation leads somewhere new.
And hopefully you’ll discover something interesting along the way.
Before You Go…
Thank you for spending a little time here.

You never know where curiosity might lead you next.
After all…

Steve
